This policy explains what Trust Barbershop ("we") collects when you book, visit or text us, why we collect it, and who sees it. It covers trustbarber.com, our booking app and our text messages.
What we collect
- Your name and mobile phone number, when you book or check in.
- Your email address, only if you choose to add it.
- Your booking history: services, barber, dates, prices and any note you leave for your barber.
- Notes and discounts the shop adds to your record, for example a regular-customer discount.
- How you found us, if you choose to tell us, and the ad or page that brought you to the site.
- Your text message choices (what you agreed to, the exact wording and when) and the texts you send us.
- Basic technical data your browser sends, such as device type and pages visited, through cookies from Google and Meta that measure visits and ads.
How we use it
- To book, change and keep your appointments, and to tell your barber you are coming.
- To text you about your appointments, if you agreed: a reminder the day before and an hour before, and when your barber is ready.
- To text you offers, specials and "time for a cut" reminders, only if you separately agreed to that.
- To answer your calls and texts.
- To see, in total, which ads and pages bring customers in.
We do not sell your personal information.
Text messages
Texts are optional. Agreeing to them is not required to book or to buy anything, and the boxes on the booking form stay unticked until you tick them.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
To stop, reply STOP to any text, call us at (916) 918‑4344, or ask at the shop. Reply HELP for help.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes at any time. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
How long we keep it
We keep your customer record and booking history while you are our customer, and afterwards only as long as we need it for our business and tax records. Your text message consent records are kept as long as we keep your number, so we can show what you agreed to.
Your choices and deleting your data
You can ask us to show, correct or delete your information. Call (916) 918‑4344 or ask at the shop; we will check it is you and do it, keeping only what the law requires us to keep.
Parents often book for their kids. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13 other than what a parent gives us when booking for them.
Do Not Track: our site does not change what it does when a browser sends a Do Not Track signal. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time.
Keeping it safe
The site uses encrypted connections, and only staff who need your details to serve you can see them.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update it here and change the date at the top.
